Bike Ride to the "BIG PARK"

Ryann and I decided to go on a bike ride today, destination the "BIG PARK", where all of Ryann's "Friends" play.  I told her okay, but then explained we had to go up a big hill, but she was determined to go and play. So off we went, up the big hill (Maradee can testify on how big the hill is) Ry rode her bike the entire way, no worries mom pushed her up the big hill, (lots of heavy breathing), but we made it to the park, and how lucky is Ryann here friends had made to the park as well. The ride home was a breeze, however I think we made it up the hill faster than we did coming down.

Already driving crazy, and working on some tricks.

Zion - The end portion of the Narrows

We decided to visit Zion and hike the end portion of the Narrows, before it got to cold to play in the river. I know cold in ST. George, yep its possible, eventually.  Ryann was excited to play in the water and she did very well on the hike, we figure she did about 4 miles.  There was a section of the river that got up to our chest, and so Anthony had to carry both packs and I had to carry Ryann, and shocking, that part was her favorite.  Everything made it across without getting to wet, with the exception of Anthony's ipod.   It was a great day spent outside, in the water, and with each other.

3rd Birthday

My Little Girl is Growing UP!
This year Ryann had a little birthday party with some cousins, they ate spaghetti, opened presents, made necklaces, and the best part played with each other.  Ryann honestly loves to play, and loves her cousins.  Anthony also threw together some little party favor bags, which was a huge hit, particularly the silly string.
For her birthday Grandpa, Nannie and Chelsea came over to celebrate.   Grandpa took us to Texas Roadkill, and Ryann was able to sit on the saddle while they sang their version of "Happy Birthday", she was so embarrassed.  Later we went back to the house for cake and ice cream....and of course to open presents.  This year for her birthday, Ryann insisted on getting a pink, glittery, princess computer, and a princess birthday cake.   We accomplished the computer wish, along with a bike and games, as far as the cake went, well it ended up being my version of a "princess cake". She must have enjoyed it, because the next day she informed me her birthday was coming again soon.

Washington County Fair

In August we attended the Washington County Fair, much like the previous year to pet a farm animal you had to pay (LAME), or if your lucky catch one in the show area (not sure what the exact name for that area is).  So the main attraction was the carnival.  Ryann didn't remember a whole lot from last year, so it seemed like a first time at the carnival for her.  She was really nervous going on her first ride, but after that LOVED going on the rides, her favorite was probably the slide.
